Behind SHIELD

What began as a small 500 sq. ft. training space has evolved into a 60,000 sq. ft. integrated performance and sports medicine facility designed to support athletes, families, and the community through every stage of development, recovery, and performance.

Founded by Brandon Coccimiglio, SHIELD Athletics was built on the belief that athletic development should go beyond training alone. By integrating elite hockey development, strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, sports therapy, recovery, cardiac care, and long-term health support under one roof, SHIELD has become a complete performance ecosystem focused on building stronger athletes and healthier communities.
